Lake County Code, Chapter 172 regarding pets exists for the safety and well-being of residents and their pets. You may feel that you have trained your pet adequately and that a leash is not necessary. Please remember that according to the law, on public property, your pet must be leashed or properly secured. As for common DCHOA land, your pet must be leashed. Please direct questions to Lake County Animal Control at 847-377-4700. 

Please consider joining the Board. Helping out is not difficult and gives you a chance to know your neighborhood. We will send out nomination forms with assessment letters this year, or fill out a nomination form electronically. Simply download it, fill in the blanks, and return it to us.
